【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedtoestimatethewaterresistanceofshoeupperleather.Thefleximpartedtotheleatherissimilartotheflexgiventhevampoftheshoeinactualwear.Note18212;ThereisanindicationthatthistestmethodcannotbeusedinterchangeablyforspecificationpurposeswithTestMethodD2098.1.1ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedynamicwaterresistanceofshoeupperleatherbytheMaeserwaterpenetrationtester.Itisapplicabletoalltypesofshoeupperleather.Certainwaterproofprocessescancausecontaminationofthestainlesssteelballs.Whenthishappens,visualinspectionisrecommended.Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytowetblue.1.2Initialwaterpenetrationandwaterabsorptioncanbemeasuredbythistestmethod.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
